Services

Jackets:

From slider to full zipper replacements to patching the hole your dog chewed or the rip from the tree that came out of no where, we can most likely find a solution to mending your favorite coat.

Snow pants:

Hems, cuff reinforcement, zippers, patches, etc. Let's keep your favorite outwear going for as long as possible. (Please note that I cannot do "heat bonded seams" I will always sew undone seams, and can apply seam tape)

Backpacks and Tents:

Buckles, zippers, patches, etc. I can work on most flexible backpacks but am limited when it comes to a backpacking backpack with a frame that cannot be removed due to not having the correct machine. It is always worth asking though as there are tricks and techniques to any problem.

General clothing:

I also work on general clothes with rips, tears, seam breakage, knitwear, etc that are not classified as "outer wear". I can do simple alterations like hems but will send you to someone else for anything more.

Shop Hours

February drop off hours:

After taking some time off of drop offs to accomplish some serious sewing, I have determined I can begin to take drop offs again starting Thursday, February 5 from 9-4. I believe I will continue accepting drop offs on Wednesdays from 10-5 and Thursdays from 9-4. I will also be available by appointment if these times do not work for your schedule. Please give me a call to set that up.

Please note that I am still a month or so out on repairs.

If you are still reading and wondering why in the world I can take a week off of drop offs, here is why:

I strive to put out high quality repairs for every item that passes through the sewing space. Each repair requires special, thorough considerations which needs time and attention. In order to accomplish this, I need space away from interruptions to execute the caliber of work that you deserve to make your items last. When I take this time off I am putting in extra hours to ensure my turn around time doesn't turn into 2 to 3 months.

I also take this time off for me. I am a small business, doing this thing solo and in order to avoid a mental break down I have determined that when I get busy, I need to stop and provide myself space for solving tough repairs and time to go on a walk mid day without worrying that I am going to miss a customer. I am highly productive during these moments and this business and these garments and gear need that.

Drop off Checklist

1. Check the schedule for open drop off hours or make an appointment.

2. Wash all garments and gear. Dirty items will not be accepted. It is very important to wash your outerwear and gear regularly and it will make it last much longer. If you have questions on how to wash something just give me a ring and I will help you out.

3. Breathe a sigh of relief for getting something done on your to do list.
